On April 19, 2026, we launched the first group of the “Learn Cruiser Sailing” project.

The day gave us a full spectrum of sailing weather — from a sunny, warm, and calm morning to a rainy afternoon with a fresh breeze. Perfect conditions to experience the real spirit of sailing.

For many of us, it was the first time sailing on the Maasplassen (Plas Hatenboer, Zuidplas) and the first time stepping aboard this beautiful classic wooden yacht.

Our first mission was simple: get to know each other, learn the basics of cruiser sailing, and enjoy the journey under the guidance of an experienced skipper. Throughout the day we discovered new sailing terminology, practiced essential knots, and learned how to steer the yacht in different wind directions.

It was a great start to our sailing adventure.

Next time, we’ll continue learning and practicing key sailing maneuvers as our journey on the water continues.
