SECOND WIND is a sailing expedition, media, and youth development project created by Roergames Stichting.
At its heart, the project is not about a yacht.
Starting with a single yacht, we will restore, prepare, and sail her from the North Sea towards the Mediterranean, documenting every step of the journey and sharing what we learn along the way.
Along the way, we hope not only to transform a yacht, but also to help young people discover what they are capable of becoming.
The project begins with Challenge #1: Find the yacht.
Then come the next challenges:

Events such as Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez represent more than sailing.
They celebrate the preservation of history, craftsmanship and maritime heritage across generations.
Reaching such places with a yacht given a SECOND WIND would be a powerful reminder that worthy yachts and worthy stories deserve continuation.
We do not plan to transform the yacht overnight.
Instead, we will prepare her step by step.
We believe that a yacht, just like a crew, grows stronger one challenge at a time.

Long before SECOND WIND became a project, there was another yacht.
Her name was VETER — Wind.
Built by hand by a father and sons, she carried years of learning, mistakes, adventures, and shared memories.
Today, she still exists, waiting for her next chapter.
That experience taught us something important:
A yacht is never just a boat.
And one day, just like every sailor, every yacht reaches a moment when her future depends on someone willing to continue the story.
SECOND WIND was born from that experience.
From the belief that worthy yachts, valuable skills, and meaningful traditions deserve continuation.
If you own a yacht, you know that a boat is never just fiberglass, wood, and equipment.
She carries years of adventures, challenges, friendships, and memories.
Every scratch tells a story.
Every mile becomes part of her history.
We believe that a good yacht should not disappear into obscurity after changing hands.
We are looking for a 35–45 ft yacht whose best chapter may still lie ahead.
