Sail & Grow · Youth Sailing & Growth App

Sail & Grow is a unique mobile application by the Roergames Stichting to support our NACRA community and, particularly, the youth sailing team in Roermond. It’s a tool for growth, teamwork, and community connection, bringing together young sailors, parents, and all friends of our initiative.

Key features:

  • Training & Regatta Calendar.
Always stay up to date with upcoming trainings and competitions.

  • Progress & Performance Tracking.
Track the team’s results and each sailor’s personal development to motivate growth and celebrate achievements.

  • Virtual Coach.
Learn the essentials of sailing: techniques, rules, teamwork insights, and personal development tips.

  • Gamification & Motivation.
Achievements, badges, and fun challenges make training and learning more engaging.

  • Community Space.
A private platform for the team and parents to share news, photos, and videos.

  • Support & Donations.
A way for supporters to contribute to the program and help our young athletes reach their goals.

Why does it matter?

We are building not just an app, but a central platform for youth sports and development, connecting athletes, families, and the wider community.

Like Voetbal.nl has transformed football in the Netherlands, Sail & Grow will become the heart of our sailing team and an inspiring model for other sports and cultural initiatives.

Sail & Grow is a Roergames Stichting project that helps children and young people develop skills, build friendships, and discover new horizons.

Focus: combining sailing, teamwork, and personal development.

    • Performance tracking (speed, distance, weather conditions, race position).

    • Personal progress of each participant (skills, participation, achievements).

  2. Virtual Coach:

    • Mini-guide to sailing (basic techniques, knots, rules).

    • Teamwork and leadership advice (based on practical experience).

    • The same system can be adapted for other sports or cultural activities.

    • This enables the foundation to have a multifunctional “Growth App” for children and teenagers.
